I am extremely proud of all Shadagrace bred dogs everywhere and feel blessed for the dear friends that have touched my life because of the dogs. Out at their first show weekend Odin and Zara each got Best Baby Puppy in Group at one show ! Jenna did a great job her first time in the ring too!

Jennelle has done a great job working with Olli and handling him herself to his championship. . They also got their CGN July 2014. Great team!

BPIG Shadagrace Black Diamond "ROGUE" CGN

Rogue and Kerri were out on Vancouver island representing lappies. He is looking great and the judge recognized that by awarding him Best Puppy in Group. He got his CGN at our 2014 National Specialty and Trent also had Rogue in the ring for Juniors, what a great little team. Way to go!

BPIS MBPIG CH Shadagrace Cassbar's Hot Thyme RN CGN "THYME"

WOW...Thyme and Gail certainly have people talking about Finnish Lapphunds! Thyme had many wins at only 8 months old. Puppy Sweeps at our 2012 National Specialty, Group 3, Multi Best Puppy Groups and BEST PUPPY IN SHOW !!! She is the first owner handled Finnish Lapphund to get BPIS. 2013 National Specialty she was BOS and 2014 she was Select Bitch and the same weekend got her first Rally title and CGN.....I'm sure there is more history to be made with this girl.

BPIS MBPIG CH Shadagrace Cassbar's Rawhide "ROWDY"

Rowdy jumped in the ring at 6 months getting Puppy Group and then at our 2012 Nat. Specialty strutted his way to Best of Winners and Best Puppy in Specialty !!!! At 8months old Tom showed Rowdy to BPIS and then the same weekend a Group 4 with the big dogs :) 2013 National Specialty they recieved Select Dog. They have since got many group placements including a Grp 2. Congrats to Tom Tilford on such a wonderful job with this young boy.

CH Shadagrace Cassbar Sir Vernor "Jameson"

At 7 months old Jameson took BOB over a large group of 12 Finnish Lapphunds including many specials. Michele Rogowski did a great job showing him. Thank you to Laura and Mike for coming to our Specialty and showing him off. He was also in an AKC show at 6 months and 2 days and got Reserve Male with 6 boys in the ring. NEW CKC CHAMPION....2014 National Specialty he came back to Canada for the weekend and went BOW plus at the all breed show went BOB over Specials. What a boy!

BAISS CH Shadagrace Precious Rain HT HIC

Rain and her owner Kara Griffith accomplished their goal of a CKC Championship at the Fort Garry Kennel Club show Oct 12th, 2009. They both have grown leaps and bounds in the show ring and did it together. Thank you Kara for being patient with your busy girl. . Rain is the 2nd champion for her dam CH Sugarok Northern Sky and is Bolt's sister. She, along with her auntie Gracie made history earning the first herding/working titles and now has a "HT" behind her name ! NOW a few years later she was back in the show ring for our 2014 National Specialty and they were award Best Altered in Specialty and got a few Group placements during the weekend to get her close to an altered title. Beautiful team, so proud of you !

BISS BPIG AKC/CKC CH Shadagrace Raising A Ruckus HIC

Ruckus was BIS at the 1st FLCC National Specialty and is also the 1st Canadian owned male Lappie to get his AKC Championship. 2013 National Specialty he was awarded Award of Merit and did the some at the 2014 National Sepcialty. Earlier in the year he also got his first rally title. Special thanks to Katherina Dueck for showing him and congratulations to his owners Judy and Darrell Armit where he gets to play with his sheltie buddy Storm.

CH Shadagrace Onni's Piper

Piper is a new CKC Champion !!! We are very proud of Piper and thank you to his owner Tom Tilford for doing such a great job with a busy boy.

Shadagrace Winter's Faith, CD, AgNJ, AgN, RN, RA

       Winter and her owner Ingrid van Reenen have worked very hard training for obedience, agility and Rally Obedience. I am very proud to share that Winter is the first Finnish Lapphund in Canada to receive an Obedience Title, Agility title and Rally O title. She is a daughter from Gracie's first litter. Winter earned her Companion Dog title by passing three legs of CKC Novice Obedience June 2009. She earned her CKC agility title in Novice jumpers with weaves in July 2009. Then in Aug and Sept 09 they got 2 Rally O titles. So nice for both Ingrid and Winter to see these accomplishments after many hours of training.

AKC/CKC CH Shadagrace Bolt Lightning HIC

At just over a year old Bolt earned his CKC Championship and is the 1st champion for dam Ch Sugarok Northern Sky “SKYLA”.

He has impressed the judges and has placed in group making him the 1st Canadian bred Finnish Lapphund to place in group and 1st Canadian owned male to place in group too. Thank you to his owner Cheryl Barclay and her family for doing such a fantastic job with this boy.

CH Shadagrace Malia’s Magic

Malia is the first puppy from Shadagrace to get her CKC Championship. She is a Gracie x Joiku daughter. I’d like to thank her owner Janice Thomaschewski * My Sidekick Kennel * and her daughter Jamie for doing such a great job showing her.
